Understanding Usage Limits

Each Mosaic plan has different limits for OG image generation and website management. Here's what you need to know.

How Limits Work

OG Image Generation

• Limits reset on the first day of each month
• Each unique URL counts as one image generation
• Re-generating the same URL (refresh) doesn't count against your limit

Website Management

• All plans allow unlimited websites
• Each website can have unlimited pages

What Happens When You Hit Your Limit

Free Plan (500 images/month)

When you reach your limit:

• New OG images won't be generated
• Existing images remain available
• You'll see a notification to upgrade

Pro Plan (5,000 images/month)

If you exceed your Pro plan limit:

• New images won't be generated until next month
• Consider upgrading to Pro Yearly for unlimited images
• Existing images remain available

Monitoring Your Usage

You can track your usage in your dashboard:

1. Visit your dashboard after logging in
2. Your current usage is displayed at the top
3. Pro users get detailed analytics in Settings

Upgrading for More Capacity

Need more capacity? You can upgrade anytime:

• Free → Pro: Get 5,000 images/month
• Pro → Pro Yearly: Get unlimited images + custom branding
• Upgrades take effect immediately

Tips for Managing Usage

1. Use descriptive URLs: Mosaic caches images per unique URL
2. Batch updates: Make multiple page changes before regenerating
3. Monitor analytics: Pro users can track which pages generate the most images
